ELEKTRIK

A movement-based performance methodology exploring the body, rhythm, electronic sound and psychological experience.

Developed by Fenia Gianni in collaboration with movement artist, somatic practitioner and electronic music artist Heiko, the ELEKTRIK Movement explores how electronic music, movement and embodied performance can become dramaturgical tools for storytelling.

Working with rhythm, repetition, breath, stillness, gesture and physical presence, the methodology investigates how internal states and lived experiences can be expressed through the body beyond spoken language.

Currently in development through research, experimentation and performance, the ELEKTRIK Movement forms part of Gianni’s wider exploration of contemporary theatre, electronic music and the relationship between psychological experience and embodied storytelling.
